Today, at exactly 4:02 pm, the sun will be directly over the equator and officially marking the autumnal equinox.
In better terms- it’s the first day of Fall!
It’s that time of year where leaves begin to change, the days get shorter, and overpriced coffee shops sell way too many pumpkin flavored drinks. The only problem is that it doesn’t feel like Fall!
If you look at the forecasted high temperatures of the next week we could potentially see record breaking heat.
This Saturday we are forecasted to be one degree off the record high. Then next week we could break a record on both Tuesday and Wednesday.
To put things into perspective, we should have high temperatures around 70 degrees this time of year. In the next six days we will see the high temperatures 15 to 20 degrees above average in some locations.
Fall lovers do not worry! By the end of next week we are expected to drop back to near average temperatures.
The only problem is that there is still no substantial chance for rain in the foreseeable forecast.
